Malta is being made to look nicer with new roads, roundabouts, flower beds, telephone boxes, bus shelters, etc.

Except for a few vandals most of the population is appreciative and thankful for these improvements.

One of the things left which is definitely an eyesore is the free-standing letter box. It is a box-on-a-drain-pipe affair. It is crude and unsightly.

I am sure that those designers who put up the new-look telephone booths and bus shelters would delight in creating a letter box design worthy of being seen in public.
