On behalf of my family, especially my father Carmel Fenech, a regular patient at Ward M8, I would publicly like to thank all the staff for their ongoing dedication to their work. Using the limited resources they are offered, they do more than their utmost to make the patients welcome and comfortable. They work endlessly, courageously and kindly, always doing more than their best to support patients and their relatives.
Special thanks go to Prof. Emanuel Farrugia and his team for never giving up and continuously caring for patients and supporting family members through difficult times. Renal Unit staff are also extremely dedicated. The rapport there is also personal and one knows one is not alone because of this highly dedicated staff.
All these people offer such a high degree of care and welcome, thus making patients feel their wards are a home away from home. My father has found big allies in all these dedicated people.
Praise is also due to the ACC clinic and Vanya Aquilina for the therapy and continuous support she offers my father.
