Adrian Bajada, accompanied by Wilfred Kenely and Dr Buhagiar attended a meeting with the Minister for Education, Youth and Employment, Dr Louis Galea, on Tuesday.
The main purpose of the meeting was for Dr Galea to discuss the reforms to the education system in Malta, following the publication of a document issued by his ministry entitled "For All Children to Succeed - A New Network Organisation For Quality Education in Malta".
Dr Galea explained that the target of this document was to provide quality education. He further explained that the document was just one out of a series of documents, which were being published. Within this series are documents focusing on early education, higher education, adult education and lifelong learning.
The FOI delegation emphasised that education was always a priority with the federation. The meeting also served as an occasion to discuss other issues of national importance related to education.
