Art exhibition

Two young artists, Robert Zahra and Eltjon Llupi, both reading a degree at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Milan, will exhibit their works at the Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort in St Julians from Thursday to September 2.

The exhibition, entitled Fragments of Urban Landscape, was made possible through the help of the Bank of Valletta. The works treat buildings in construction and in demolition, the periphery, the concept of trees and buildings and how these can coexist in a space like Milan. Both artists used charcoal on paper to transmit the beauty that they saw amid the chaos of the city. Mr Zahra also used mixed media in some of his works.
