Former Nationalist MP Michael Falzon yesterday filed a libel suit against Labour MP Gavin Gulia and the editor of L-Orizzont Frans Ghirxi over an article that appeared in the newspaper.

Mr Falzon filed the suit in the Magistrates' Court and claimed that the article entitled Il-hniezer u annimali ohrajn (The pigs and other animals), which was written by Dr Gulia, was libellous and defamatory.
