CINI. On July 30, BEATRICE née Portelli, of Valletta, widow of George, aged 90, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Joe and his wife Vera of Australia, George and his wife Irene, Charles and his wife Dorothy, Twanny and his wife Sandra, and Robert, her daughters Anna and her husband Anthony Rossi, and Carmen and her husband Professor Maurice Grech, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Maximillian church in St Simon Street (first street parallel to the seafront) Bugibba where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Holy Family Home for the Elderly in Naxxar will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

GRECH. On July 31, Joseph, aged 90, of Qormi, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmela, his children Carmel and his wife Margaret, and George and his wife Silvia, residing in Australia, Frans and his wife Rose, residing in Canada, Antonia, Maria and her husband Godfrey Camilleri, Doris widow of Charles Lauria, Joseph and his wife Georgina, Reno and his wife Rita, Gizwalda, Tessie and her husband Gaetano Camilleri, Romilda and her husband Martin Cauchi, and William and his wife Anna, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

On July 31, at St Luke's Hospital, JOSEPH, chairman of the Phoenix Group, aged 77, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church, following a brave struggle against his ailments. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anne née Padovani, his son Stephen Anthony and his wife Ann, his grandchildren Julian and Nicola, his mother Catherine, his brothers Alfred and his wife Molly, Anthony and his wife Catherine, Victor, and Philip and his wife Josette, his sisters Frances wife of Emanuel Paris, Carmen, wife of Hilary Vella, Mary, wife of John Mifsud, Emily, wife of Richard Aquilina, and Evelyn, wife of Renzo Borg Grech, his in-laws Anthony Padovani widower of Rose, John, Josephine and Margaret Padovani and Cynthia Petroni, his nephews and nieces, present and past company employees and numerous friends. - R.I.P.

POLLACCO. On July 30, John, of Attard, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church.
