I would like to put forward a positive experience for publication in your column.

I received a gift perfume last Christmas, which was purchased from Franks perfumery. However, recently I noted the perfume to have lost its usual aroma and was giving off an unpleasant smell.

I returned the product, still in its original box (so it was not exposed to heat or light) to the Swieqi outlet of Franks perfumery.

Here the manageress, Lisa Bartolo, was very welcoming and helpful, even though she was not convinced of the change in aroma.

However I also noticed that the colour of the perfume was also different. She took my details to look into the complaint and the next day I was contacted to pick up a brand new perfume of a larger size.

Even though it was a tester that I received in exchange, I cannot do anything but praise the way I was treated. Ms. Bartolo was very apologetic for the inconvenience caused.

I am sure that she is an asset to the company and she should be rewarded for her proper customer care. Well done! (Danica Spiteri)
