Australia were 279 for seven in their second innings against England at the close of the second day's play in the first Ashes test at Lord's yesterday

Scores: Australia 279-7 (Clarke 91, Martyn 65) and 190 (Harmison 5-43) vs England 155 (Pieter-sen 57; McGrath 5-53).
