The police have concluded their investigations into the murder of Victor Magri, 41, known as Ic-Cinku, and a suspect is expected to be charged in court imminently, sources close to the police said.

Investigations into the murder were intensified over the past few days.

Mr Magri, of Qormi but who resided in Balzan, was married with three children. He was found shot dead in a hired car at Ta' Qali on December 3 last year at about 7 p.m.

Mr Magri was hit by seven bullets in the chest fired from very close range.
