A private contractor carrying out works in Tal-Hamsija, limits of Rabat, damaged an underground power cable on Monday, Enemalta said. This caused the electricity service to be interrupted in parts of Rabat, Mosta, Dingli, Attard and Naxxar. The supply was restored a few hours later, according to Enemalta.
