Last week, Marsa could only win one game out of four against Stockport Grammar School who were here on their fifth tour.
The first game was the most thrilling of the lot with the honours being won on the last ball of the very last over.
Marsa had batted first with Mike Caruana top-scoring with 72 runs and Mark Sacco 45. The hosts scored 234 runs.
Tim Radford led Stockport's charge with 83 runs which brought the game to an exciting finish.
Josh Rice finished off the good work by scrambling through for a quick single to win the game.
The next day, Marsa won the toss and elected to field only to find Chris Jones in superb touch with the bat making 110 runs. He was well aided by Jonathan Holt who made 42 runs. In all, Stockport totalled 257 runs.
In reply, Marsa fell short by 24 runs. Neil Pennington was the most successful bowler with three wickets.
On Saturday, Marsa won the toss and again fielded first. The Stockport boys shared the runs between them clocking a massive score of 269 runs. Fifties were made by Jones, Richard Cahill and Alex Hope.
Marsa were in trouble trying to keep up with the run rate.
Mike Caruana (44) and John Grima (45) were the locals' main hope. A late 37 not out from Sunny Krishna brought the total to 202 runs.
Marsa again won the toss on Sunday. They opted to field first.
Stockport managed 228 runs this time with Jones their top scorer with 34 runs. Nowell Khosla was Marsa's most successful bowler taking three wickets.
Marsa finally broke their duck in the series with Alan Kyle making 50, Sarfraz Ali 37, Sacco 28 and Caruana 38 for a total of 231.
Summer Trophy
The Skanska Summer Trophy returns on Saturday with the first game, between Krishna and Melita, commencing at 11 a.m.
The Marsa-Overseas match starts at 2.30 p.m.
