Parks for garage industries
A House committee yesterday approved a motion for amendments to the Structure Plan identifying sites to be used for the development of industrial parks for micro enterprises.
The parks, which will house garage industries, will be sited beyond built-up areas near Mellieha, in a former quarry near Mgarr, at t'Alla w Ommu Hill in Naxxar, at a former batching plant near Ghaxaq, at Ta' Maggi in Zabbar and tal-Barmil, Xewkija.
The motion is expected to be debated by the whole House today.
