Methode Malta organises clean up event

As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, automotive switchmaker Methode Electronics Malta Ltd's Environmental Team organised their annual clean-up event.

This year's activity was held last month on the water's edge in Mellieha. Associates from the company volunteered to give up their Sunday morning to make the environment a better place.

A substantial amount of rubbish was collected during this year's event, including broken deck chairs, jerry cans containing unknown liquid, various take-away packaging and broken glass.

All the rubbish collected was disposed of on site, in a skip kindly provided by Green Skip Services Ltd.

Methode Electronics Malta, on behalf of the Environmental Team, thanked all volunteers, Mellieha Council, as well as Green Skips Services for their support in yet another successful event.
