Lately, someone with a very morbid and silly sense of humour has been spreading very amateurishly edited photos of beautiful Maltese scenery and tried to make them look like sightings of sharks.

I'm sure most of us realised this when we first saw these photos.

Anyone who is still not sure about the authenticity of these photos, read on...

First of all, one can find the original photos in a section called Beautiful Malta & Gozo Gallery on the website www.onlyinmalta.com. This is where the culprit stole the photos from.

Secondly, one of the photos still carries the "onlyinmalta" watermark at the top right corner! They wanted to spread shock and fear and didn't even take the time to do it properly!
