Neglected roads

In spite of all the propaganda being put out regarding the "new roads" which we will be driving on in the next year or two, I have yet to see anyone painting any road markings or doing any maintenance on the existing roads. When was the last time road markings were painted in the north part of Malta?

Another short-lived project which seems to have disappeared is the daily government vehicle cleaning up the main roads, picking up litter, etc. It lasted a few months and has gone the way of all other good ideas which seem to fizzle out after a few months.
