¤ The feast of the Visitation of Our Lady is being celebrated in Gharb today.
Bishop Nikol Cauchi, accompanied by the collegiate chapter, will lead a concelebrated Mass at 9 a.m., during which he will also deliver the panegyric.
The Peace Band will play marches at 11.
Solemn vespers, led by Mgr Benedict Camilleri, will be held at 6.45 p.m.
The procession, accompanied by the Peace Band and led by Vicar General Mgr Giovanni Bosco Gauci leaves the church at 7.45. The Leone Band will perform on the church square.
The procession will end with a sacramental blessing at 10 followed by marches by the Santa Marija Band from Visitation Street at 10.30.
¤ A tombola party is being held at Xaghra Primary School playground on Tuesday at 8 p.m. There will be spot prizes and a fashion show. Tickets at Lm1.50 each may be obtained from the school, or from Maria Mercieca or Maria Camilleri members of the school council or by calling 7960-2609.
¤ A Maltese Night is being organised by the Fjur t'Assisi Choir on the Capuchin Convent parvis in Victoria on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. There will be traditional food and music, tombola games, spot prizes and a comedy. Tickets may be obtained from George Cremona or by phoning 2155-6608.
¤ The University Gozo Centre wishes to assess demand for Bachelor of Arts (five years), Bachelor of Commerce (five years), Diploma in Commerce (two years), Diploma in Lace Studies (two years), Master of Arts in Islands and Small States Studies (two years) and Master of Arts in Economics (two years) courses, offered in Gozo on a part-time basis.

¤ A number of piano recitals are being held at Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia Hall at St George's Basilica, as part of the Victoria International Arts festival this week.
Marco Podestá of Italy will be performing today, Greek pianist Zoe Samsarelou will play on Thursday while duo Natasha Chircop and Marco Rivoltini will perform on Saturday. All concerts start at 8 p.m.
¤ A traditional dinner for the feast of St George is being held by the La Stella Band on St George's Square, Victoria, on Friday at 8.30 p.m. Tickets may be obtained from the band club.
