San Giljan Aquatic Sports Club, in collaboration with the St Julian's Local Council, will hold their annual international waterpolo tournament between July 4 and 7.
Five Dutch sides, three of them women's teams, will be taking part.
A competition for women's teams has been a regular feature in the tournaments organised by the club in the 1980s and early 90s.
San Giljan are doing their utmost to revive women's waterpolo in Malta as this has been missing for various years now.
The Balluta club will field a team in each of the two tournaments which are sponsored by Farsons and the Ministry for Tourism and Culture.
San Giljan ASC have also announced that they have reached an agreement with Foster Clark who will be the main sponsors for the 2005 season.

Wednesday, July 6 - (Women) 6.30 p.m. Robben vs Merlet Cuijk; 7.30 p.m. San Giljan vs ZWK Merlet. (Men) 8.30 p.m. ZV de Meer vs San Giljan Foster Clark.
Thursday, July 7 - 6.30 p.m. Women's third place play-off; 7.30 p.m. Women's final. 8.30 p.m. ZV de Meer vs ZPC Watervlo.
