A concise but comprehensive information booklet for teachers has just been published by The Family Support Group for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

The publication, in English and Maltese, includes guidelines for first step identification of AD/HD. Although meant primarily for teachers, the booklet includes advice for parents. The Family Support Group said the correct identification and treatment of children with AD/HD before the age of nine is essential to ensure a positive outcome and prevent the development of other conditions that could lead to more severe challenging behaviour.
