Summer work experience

Lorenzo Gafà boys' secondary school, Malta Drydocks, Guttenberg Press and Vista Co-op have signed agreements to allow a number of Form 4 students from the school to work for a month at these places during their summer holidays.

In the case of Malta Shipyards, this is the sixth year that such a work experience is being organised. Eighteen students will attend the Malta Shipyards Training Centre were they will be taught different trades.

The school will be sending three students to Guttenberg Press, one of the most important printing presses on the island, while two others will be taken on by Vista Co-op, helping in the organisation of Kidstart Summer School.
