Second division Paulista overcame a sleepless night to hold out for a goalless draw away to top flight side Fluminense and win the Copa Brasil on Wednesday.

Complaining that Fluminense fans in front of their hotel had set off firecrackers throughout the night to keep them awake, Paulista won the final 2-0 on aggregate and qualified for next year's Libertadores Cup.
