Now that the government has embarked on the park and ride project to ease the traffic flow in the Floriana and Valletta area I suggest that a pedestrian bridge near the MUSEUM chapel crossing December 13 Road should be included in the project.

The need for this bridge has for long been felt as it would do away with the present pelican lights and eliminate the traffic congestion at the bus stop. It would also facilitate the traffic flow from the new parking area to the south of the island. And, finally, it would be safe for pedestrians.
