Major hotel refurbishment programme completed

The Sunny Coast Resort Club has completed a major refurbishment project aimed at upgrading the facilities offered at the hotel.

The refurbishment project includes major works on the pool deck and lido which has been extended to include a waterfall, gazebos and a number of outdoor jacuzzis. With this extension the area of the lido has nearly doubled offering extensive space for sun-beds and leisure activities.

Along the lido a number of palm trees have been planted offering shade throughout the summer months and giving the area more of a summer beach atmosphere.

In the evenings the whole area is transformed into an outside diner, offering a selection of pizzas as well as barbeques on selected nights. Apart from the events organised by the resort, the lido area is also open for private functions.

The upgrading project included works in the lobby and front office desk area, which was given a total make-over including new flooring.

Other refurbishment work was conducted in the self-catering apartments.

The works in a selection of the apartments included the installation of new kitchens, appliances, plastering and other routine works. Further works were carried out in the lounge bar and the lifts.
