Kavallieri Blue Label will play Stompers TGIF in the Barclays Super Cup final next Saturday at Marsa, starting at 5 p.m.

This should be an interesting clash between two fine sides on the very last day of an MRFU eventful season.

League and cup winners Kavallieri should field their strongest side, including their two new centres and the national squad members back from international duty.

Kavallieri will be seeking revenge on Stompers for a previous defeat that still rankles in their hearts.

Stompers have problems in the pack, with Diamantino and Dreyer abroad and Camilleri injured. Mascena and Calleja will be back in the squad.

Rugby sevens

MRFU club sides will be playing a seven-a-side tournament today at Marsa.

Rugby sevens is a faster, more spectacular version of the game and will be played in next year's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
