Man badly injured in fire
A 28-year-old man was seriously injured on Thursday evening when a fire broke out in the Mqabba garage where he was working, the police said yesterday.
The man was rushed to hospital where he was certified to be in a critical condition, which then stabilised. The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
Magistrate Michael Mallia carried out an inquiry and appointed several experts to assist him.
The Zurrieq police are investigating.
