Daniel Bogdanovic has set his sights on a return to Sliema Wanderers.

Sources have told The Times that the Malta champions are willing to re-sign the former Malta striker who spent the last six months of the season on loan with Ghajnsielem.

Bogdanovic has a contract with Premier League outfit Marsa-xlokk who are prepared to negotiate for Bogdanovic after deciding that the players who were loaned out to other clubs last season are not in their plans for the future.

The prospect of Bogdanovic switching to Sliema has been raised during discussions between Sliema and Marsaxlokk over Malta midfielder Kevin Sammut.

Sammut has already agreed a move to Marsaxlokk and Bogdanovic could now become part of the deal.
