A Libyan man was yesterday charged with threatening a man with a knife in Paceville yesterday morning.

Medi Muhammed, 30, pleaded not guilty to threatening Stephen Ciangura with a knife and the illegal possession of the weapon at 3 a.m. He was remanded in police custody.

Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.

Dr Richard Sladden appeared for Mr Muhammed.
