Man arrested for cocaine
A 26-year-old man from Swatar has been arrested by the police drugs squad after allegedly being found in possession of cocaine.
The police had been tailing the man following information that he was allegedly trafficking in drugs around Bugibba.
At the time of his arrest, 19 packets of cocaine ready for sale were found in his possession and in his car, the police said.
Magistrate Joseph Cassar is heading an inquiry.
The man is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
