The Economics Department, in collaboration with the Foundation for International Studies, will be organising a short course on "Understanding the Maltese Economy". It is intended for all those who wish to obtain information about the structure, performance and challenges of the Maltese economy and of the policy orientations to meet these challenges. The course should be of special interest to students of economics, public officials involved in economic policy-making and economic journalists.

The tutors of the course are Professor Lino Briguglio and Gordon Cordina, both well-known economists, with long experience in lecturing. The course will be spread over three weeks and will start on Tuesday, June 14.
