Daniel Ceros and Stephanie Pace were eliminated from the opening rounds of the tennis singles events yesterday at the indoor L'Aldosa Sports Complex.

Ceros was beaten 6-2 6-0 by Iceland's Arnar Sigurdsson and Pace finished on the wrong side of a final 6-4 6-3 scoreline when playing against Monaco's Emilia Milovanovic.

Today, it's the turn of Malta players Boris Pasanski and Lisa Camenzuli, who both earned a bye in the opening round, to enter the fray.

Pasanski faces William Forcellini, of San Marino, and Camenzuli takes on Pavlina Akritas, of Cyprus.
