The ninth edition of the Bir Miftuh International Music Festival organised annually by Din l-Art Helwa comes to an end with its fourth and final concert at the church of Santa Marija ta' Bir Miftuh in the limits of Gudja on Sunday at 8 p.m.

The performers will be the Trio Rosso, composed of Kathrin Goschenhofer on the oboe, Dirk Benkwitz playing the clarinet and Ulrike Buhlmann the bassoon.

This well-travelled trio plays regularly at prestigious cultural events in Berlin such as the Potsdam Schloessernacht 2004 and the Easter Academy La Villa 2005.

Their programme consists of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Jacob, Tomasi, Maros, Francaix and a world premier composition by Charles Camilleri written purposely for the Trio Rosso for this festival.

Tickets at Lm7.50 per person, including refreshments after the concert, may be obtained from Din l-Art Helwa's office on 2122 0358 or 2122 5952, till Friday between 9 a.m. and noon. All funds raised will go towards to Din l-Art Helwa's restoration projects.
