Expert insists beautiful jewellery is not just for superstars

A limited jewellery collection designed by Fiorentino Gioielli is being mounted by Gaba Gioielli.

The collection makes use of various natural gemstone and other quality stones such as jade, coral and turquoise, all mounted on 18 carat gold jewellery.

The exclusive collection, which is on display at the company's Naxxar Road, Lija premises until June 6, and Fabio Fiorentino will be in attendance to explain to patrons how the stones originated, were cut and designed to produce such a magnificent collection.

"We wanted to create something very striking while following the latest in fashion, using large and colourful pieces," Mr Fiorentino said. "It's a misnomer that all beautiful jewellery has to be very expensive and only affordable by superstars. What we have achieved with this collection is an affordable range that will surely suite everyone's taste and pocket."

The exhibition will features a wide range of handcrafted gold and diamond jewellery designed by Gaba Gioielli's team.

Other lines on display include a new range of household gifts, crystal and silver items and a unique range of candle-holders. Some of these items have been designed by Sovrani, which today has become a trademark in the manufacture of items in silver 925.

Anyone having old unwanted jewellery can take it over to the shop and trade it in for new items throughout the duration of the exhibition.
