Over 400 Hyundai car owners benefited from a free vehicle inspection during the Hyundai Car Clinic week organised by Meridian Enterprises Co. Ltd in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company at the New Hyundai Service Centre this month.

The Hyundai Car Clinic, an event that was launched for the first time some six years ago, aims at promoting proper car maintenance for safer commuting. Hyundai's philosophy both locally and overseas is to establish and maintain a positive relationship with its clients.

Apart from selling good quality, reliable cars, Meridian Enterprises together with Hyundai Motor Company strive to offer the best after sales service to ascertain that the car remains in tip top condition throughout its life. A total of 2,400 vehicles have already been scrutinised in this clinic since its first launch in October 1999.

During the Car Clinic each Hyundai vehicle undergoes a thorough inspection on all mechanical and electronic components focusing on the braking system, transmission, drive train, underbody, safety devices and general electrical systems.

A Hyundai specialist, Volker Dilcher, chief of Hyundai's technical wing in Europe, assisted Meridian's technicians in giving expert advice and supervising all the inspections.

To further promote the need for proper car maintenance all Hyundai owners attending the clinic were offered discounts on parts and services for any jobs they wished to undertake after the check-up.

The Hyundai Car Clinic has become an established annual event that is popularly sought after by Hyundai clients. In fact, the week was extended by another four days to ensure that every customer was given the opportunity to attend. Meridian Enterprises thanked Hyundai Motor Company for their continued support, as well as its customers for their continued loyalty shown throughout the years, in a statement issued last week.
