Write out that cheque now!

Following my letter, which you published last Sunday, I would like to reach out to all those well meaning and generous persons to think about the less fortunate.

Id-Dar tal-Providenza needs financial help and it needs it now. Wouldn't it be nice if those high earners among your readers would write out a cheque to Id-Dar tal-Providenza or send a contribution to their account for an annual Lm100 donation by standing order for the next 10 years? My next appeal is to white-collar workers. If a company employee, be it a small or large organisation, takes the initiative to ask the Home to provide him with a collection tin to be placed at their place of work, the Home could expect a steady trickle of income from so many places. It all adds up in the end.

Some of the residents at Id-Dar tal-Providenza may not always have had a disability. Tomorrow we could be the ones who may need these services, so please take this appeal seriously and help out this inspirational institution. Id-Dar tal-Providenza has improved the welfare and lives of hundreds of persons but it now needs you to help it carry on.
