Obituary
CALLEJA. On May 23, MARIA CARMELA née Gatt, aged 86, widow of Joseph, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Henry and his wife Catherine née Borg, Lucienne wife of Anthony Aquilina, Doris wife of Nello Varrazzo, Josette wife of Lawrence Portelli and Anna, her grandchildren Charmaine, Fiona, Stephen, Sandro, Luigi, Omar and Nicolai and their respective husbands and wives and her 14 great-grandchildren, other rleatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where a Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr. Gonzi, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
CHETCUTI. On May 23, suddently at his daughter's residence at Mosta, ANGELO, aged 74 went to meet the Risen Lord. He will be deeply mourned and forever remembered by his devoted and beloved wife Rita née Vella, his adored children Rosemarie and her husband Anton, Caroline and her husband Anthony, Jesmond and his wife Marconne, his treasured grandchildren Angelica, Jessica, Justin, Myranda, Daria, Natasha, Oliver and Christel, relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. at the Mosta Rotunda followed by interment at the Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
We thank God for his life and all the love he shared with us. May he rest in peace.
GIGLIO. On May 23, suddenly at The Times offices, ALFRED, aged 47, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his father and mother Guido and Jessie, his brothers and sisters Pauline, Sylvia and her husband Paul, Alfonso and his wife Jane, Tony and his wife Violet, Charles and his wife Bianca, Anna and her husband Paul, Sandro and his wife Louise, Bianca and her husband Tony and Robert, his nephews and nieces, other relatives, his office colleagues at Allied Newspapers and many other friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for St Paul's Shipwreck parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
MANGANI. On May 23, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, JOSEPH passed away at the age of 73, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Manuel and his wife Jennifer, Vincent member of the M.U.S.E.U.M. Society, Mary Jo widow of Charles Mifsud, his precious grandchildren Elaine and her boyfriend Jeffrey Gatt, Mark and George, his brothers Paul and his wife Mary, Tony and his wife June, Adelina widow of Charles Baldacchino and their families, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. for St Paul's parish church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at St Andrew's Cemetery, Zebbug. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be appreciated. May the Lord embrace him as he rightly deserves.

School Reunion
Convent of the Sacred Heart students who concluded their studies in 1990 are invited to attend the 15-year reunion being organised to mark the occasion. Mass will be celebrated by Fr Noel Grima in the school chapel on June 14 at 5.30 p.m. followed by a roof-top party at the Victoria Hotel in Gorg Borg Olivier Street, Sliema.
