The Scout Association of Malta will be represented by a contingent of 45 scouts, led by international commissioner Franco Azzopardi and commissioner for cub scouts Leslie Bonnici, at the EuroJam 2005 camp in Hyland Park, close to Chelmsford in the United Kingdom.

The commissioner for rover scouts, Edward Vella, and Adrian Borg, commissioner north district, will also join the contingent together with numerous scout leaders and young scout participants.

About 10,000 scouts from 52 countries are expected to attend EuroJam 2005, to be held from July 29 to August 10. The Girl Guides Association of Malta will be sending 105 female members to participate in this European scouting event.
