The European Union is to fund a mobility project under the Leonardo de Vinci Programme for managers in two- and three-star hotels.
Participants will experience operational practices in Ireland and be given talks to develop their skills in dealing with quality tourists. They will be in that country for seven days in November.
The project is to be carried out by the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority and foreign partner Failte Ireland (Irish Tourism Association).
The MHRA will be responsible for its management with MTA's assistance. The association said it was confident that this pilot project would be a start towards improving the management practices within the national SME tourism sector.
Interested parties are to contact the MHRA on 2131 8133/4 for further information.
