Second race from Red Bull series

The second race in this year's Red Bull Triathlon Series will be held tomorrow on the Salina-Bahar ic-Caghaq Coast Road circuit, starting at 7.30 a.m.

The series is organised by Birkirkara St Joseph under the auspices of the Malta Triathlon Association. The events are held on sprint distances - 750m swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run.

The winners in the first race were Mark Zammit and Marylynn Bezzina. The former should again find no difficulties in claiming his second victory tomorrow.

Bezzina, however, will not be taking part. She is currently in Italy preparing for the forthcoming Olympic distance triathlon.

This event is a qualifier for the Small States of Europe triathlon to be held in Luxembourg in July.
