The blow was great,
The shock severe,
Little we thought

And only those
Who have lost can tell
The pain of parting
Without farewell.

We have forgotten,
Others think the wound
Has healed
But no one knows the sorrow
The lies within our
Hearts concealed.
Always in our thoughts and prayers. Edgar, William, Alice and family.
