The Malta and Gozo curias will be holding a national eucharistic congress between May 29 and June 3.

The congress will open with Mass at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta on May 29 at 6 p.m. followed by a procession that will end at St John's Square with a sacramental blessing.

The congress will consist of six meetings for priests, female religious laywomen and laymen at the seminary in Tal-Virtú between May 30 and June 2. The talks will be addressed by Fr Maurizio Barba, an Italian priest.

On June 3, the congress closes with a Mass with the participation of the bishops at the Granaries, in Floriana at 7.30 p.m.

In all churches, on Sundays during this month, a prayer is being said to mark Eucharistic Year.
