Celtic moved back to the top of the Scottish Premier League courtesy of a 2-0 home win over Aberdeen thanks to a John Hartson double yesterday.

Leaders Celtic have 89 points from 36 games.

They are two ahead of Rangers who beat Hearts 2-1 at Ibrox on Saturday, with two games left to complete the league trek.

Hartson, Scotland's joint PFA Player of the Year, struck twice in the second half to take his tally to 30 this season.

The Welsh international bundled home the opening goal after 47 minutes at the back post then neatly turned in the second in the 71st after Chris Sutton held the ball up well in the box before clipping it across the face of goal for a simple finish.
