An Ombudsman and an artist

Ombudsman Joseph Sammut will be holding an exhibition of paintings at the Heritage Malta head office in Valletta later this month.

The exhibition, entitled Malta And Gozo - Views And Hues, A Colourful Diversion, consists of watercolours depicting the 68 localities that have a local council. Mr Sammut will launch a colour hardbound book having the same name as the exhibition to mark his retirement after 52 years in the civil service.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on May 20 at 7.30 p.m. but a preview of the works will be held on May 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. by invitation.

Proceeds will go to the Dar tal-Providenza.
