Following the interest and success of last year's training sessions on biodiversity and conservation, Bicref - the Biological Conservation Research Foundation - is again offering its training sessions, to be undertaken at the Gaia Foundation's visitors centre.

The first session will be held on May 28 and will target conservation areas, their monitoring and management for long-term protection.

The sessions provide an opportunity for new and prospective Bicref members who would be working voluntarily in these areas in summer and autumn to have a greater insight and appreciation for the work undertaken.

Anyone interested in taking part may contact Bicref by May 20 at bicref@hotmail.com or Bicref, PO Box 30, Hamrun.
