The Chevening Alumni Association is planning to hold a social event for all past scholars at the Malta Maritime Museum on May 20 at 7 p.m.

It said it would like to hear from anyone who has studied in the UK, perhaps on a self-financing basis, with the aim of strengthening its outreach and ability to help prospective students. The association is made up of Maltese graduates who have undertaken postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.

David Zammit Mangion is the association's chairman, Konrad Mizzi is treasurer, Christopher Buttigieg, secretary, and David Gonzi, Chris Spiteri, John Ebejer, Victor Martinelli, Emanuel J. Delia, Stefano Filletti, Anne Marie Thake and Nicola Soukmandjiev are members.
