The electricity supply was interrupted in parts of Mgarr at noon on Monday due to a fault on an overhead distribution line, Enemalta Corporation said.

The corporation said it took immediate action to rectify the fault and the electricity service was restored by 3.15 p.m.

And at 8.25 a.m. yesterday, the power supply was interrupted, due to a cable fault, in parts of Mgarr, in parts of Rabat and in parts of Bidnija and Bingemma. The service was restored by 10.30 a.m., Enemalta said.

Again yesterday at 10 a.m., parts of Marsaxlokk and parts of Birzebbuga were hit by a blackout due to a cable fault. The service was restored by 1.10 p.m., Enemalta said, regretting any inconvenience caused.
