Cana Movement director Fr Louis Camilleri paid tribute to mothers and thanked them for their useful and indispensable contribution to the family and the country.

In a message for Mother's Day to be celebrated on May 8, Fr Camilleri said the movement also wanted to salute single mothers saying it admired their courage to face the problems they often faced.

The same sentiments go towards widowed mothers, Fr Camilleri said, and he prayed that these always found the help and support they required.

The Cana Movement also paid tribute to departed mothers.
