The course covers the basic skill of health and safety in a simple and interesting manner. It is designed to reduce the number of accidents in the workplace and comply with legislation.

The course ends with a 20-question multiple choice test and hazard-spotting exercise.

Employers, employees and educational establishments all identify the value of certified health and safety training.

The module, ten hours of intensive training, comprises two sessions (Monday and Wednesday), from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., and one session (Friday, 9 a.m. to noon).

The fee for this course is Lm75 plus VAT per participant. It covers all training costs, including international certificate, handouts, refreshments and other training resources.

At the end of the course all delegates should make workers, at all levels, aware of their responsibility for safety towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by work activities; use appropriate workplace precautions; follow their organisation's health and safety policy; co-operate and communicate on safety matters; carry out work activities without risk to themselves or others and understand better the emphasis on health and safety.
