'Artistic ambassadors'

Thirteen artists recently got together to share their views and artistic interpretations of the human figure at Artitude, a contemporary art gallery in Sliema.

The participating artists were Carmel Bonello, Isabelle Borg, Denise Borg Millo, Jeni Caruana, Jason Lu, Olaug Vethal, Ebba Von Fersen Balzan, Christine Xuereb and Simon Zammit Cutajar. They were joined by ceramicists Francesca Amato-Gauci and Herman Ciappara and sculptors Charles Bonnici and Goran Cejkov. Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech inaugurated their collective exhibition, describing the artists as ambassadors of Malta in their form of expression. The exhibition at the Artitude Gallery, in Tigné Street, is open between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday and Monday from 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. until May 12.
