Wardens issued 217,402 tickets in 2004

Local wardens last year issued 217,402 tickets, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said in Parliament yesterday.

The highest number of tickets was issued by wardens working for St Paul's Bay council, who issued 21,115 tickets. That was followed by 20,950 tickets issued at Sliema, 15,686 tickets issued at St Julians and 15,018 tickets at Valletta.
