Stamp collection 'top up' pack

To commemorate the first anniversary of Malta's May 1 accession to the European Union in 2004, and also to commemorate the Malta Stamp Collection's first anniversary, the Philatelic Bureau of Maltapost will be releasing a beautifully packaged top-up pack which contains all the stamps issued between May 2004 and May 2005.

This is an ideal continuation to the stamps included in the Malta Stamp Collection Album, as the last insertion in the album is the two-stamp set issued in May 2004 to commemorate Malta's accession to the EU, Maltapost said.

Each set in the top-up pack is mounted on a specially designed sheet, and each sheet carries information about that particular issue, making the whole pack complementary to the Accession Album.

The whole collection is beautifully packaged in a black folder with the Malta 2004-2005 logo and the text The Malta Stamp Collection First Anniversary in gold on the front cover.

The Malta Stamp Collection First Anniversary retails at Lm25 and will be available from the Philatelic Bureau from Monday and from all Maltapost retail outlets from May 5.
