The next dialogue meeting of the Malta Ecumenical Council will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, in Valletta. The theme of the 90-minute meeting will be: "Understanding the Ascension of Jesus Christ".

The purpose of these meetings is to foster ecumenism through reciprocal knowledge and understanding of Christians of different denominations. Those who attend can ask questions that will be answered by representatives of the different Christian denominations. All those interested in ecumenical dialogue are welcome.

The Malta Ecumenical Council is composed of representatives of the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Union of the Church of Scotland and the Methodist Congregation, the Evangelical Church of Germany and churches of the Eastern tradition.
